The FIAT/IFTA Media Management Commission’s annual survey is back, and we need your help to keep track of the evolving landscape of audiovisual archives!

This year’s survey, like every year, focuses on key aspects of archive management:

• Preservation formats and content management systems
• Public access to your archive
• How metadata is created
• Your archive’s connection to the public
• New for this year: deeper questions on the use of Artificial Intelligence in audiovisual archiving.

Why participate? Your responses help us identify trends, challenges, and needs in the archival community. The data is used to provide valuable resources on the FIAT/IFTA website and to create informative sessions at FIAT/IFTA conferences. The anonymized results will be presented at the FIAT/IFTA World Conference in Bucharest, Romania (15-18 October 2024) and published on our website for all members.

Survey deadline: 1 October 2024
