This case study explores how CCMA, Catalonia’s public audiovisual media corporation, approaches rights and risk management within the TV3 archive, one of the largest audiovisual collections in the region.

Drawing on perspectives from production, legal, and archival professionals, it examines the absence of a formal rights policy, the practical challenges of reusing heritage content, and the need for shared workflows and guidelines to support preservation, access, and responsible reuse in a digital-first context.
