Guide to Quality Control in Migration Processes

The Preservation and Migration Commission proposes the Guide to Quality Control in Migration Processes. It is intended for organisations and people planning or undertaking a migration project, who are in any way responsible for the quality of the result.

The guide refers to the whole range of quality arrangements for a migration process end to end and the fundamental aim is to convey the importance of quality control in migration. It is assumed that migration will never be repeated, so failure to detect lower quality than acceptable within the process would be considered permanent damage.  This guide suggests approaches and offers essential insights as well as detailed reference information and examples. Readers of this guide will discover that quality is not a single thing.
