Some of the Media Management Commission activities:

Seminars

The Media Management Seminars take place bi-yearly. Documentalists, media managers, management, and technical archive staff are welcome to participate.

Timeline Survey

The commission surveys FIAT/IFTA members and uses the data to track the challenges they face. The anonymised results are presented during the FIAT/IFTA World Conference.

Networking

Liaisons with other professional organisations such as SMPTE, EBU, UNESCO, IASA, and AMIA.

Awards

A selection of commission members act as the jury for the yearly FIAT/IFTA “Excellence in Media Management” award.

Consulting

For FIAT/IFTA members and non-members.
