Emmy award-winning content executive with more than 25 years of experience in documentary and non-fiction storytelling across Latin America, the U.S. Hispanic market, and global platforms. For over two decades she served as Head of Original Productions for Discovery Latin America/US Hispanic, guiding development on more than 10,000 productions, many honored with U.S. and International Emmy awards, including true crime and documentary titles now streaming on HBO Max.

Most recently, Giorelli served as Vice President of Unscripted Production for NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, where she developed original IPs and oversaw primetime hits like Los 50; she now works as a consultant and Executive Producer on international documentary and unscripted projects. Born in Turin, Italy, and raised in Latin America, she studied communications at Emerson College in Boston and holds a master’s in film production from American University in Washington, D.C.

With 25 years of experience in the audiovisual industry, Maria Angela de Jesus is one of Brazil’s leading media executives. She has held senior positions at HBO Latin America Group, Netflix and Paramount+, leading the development and production of acclaimed fiction, documentary and original content, including Mandrake, Psi, Magnífica 70, Bom Dia, Verônica, Coisa Mais Linda and Sintonia. Her work has earned several International Emmy nominations. In 2024, she joined Conspiração Filmes as an associate executive producer.

Since June 2025, she has served as the first woman President of Fundação Padre Anchieta, which oversees TV Cultura and several other media and cultural institutions, including Cultura Brasil and Cultura FM radio stations, TV Rá Tim Bum, Univesp TV, Solar Fábio Prado and the Brasil Jazz Sinfônica Orchestra.
