Give your opinion – Members survey
This year, in its 40th year of existence, FIAT/IFTA wants to benchmark again with its member base. Therefore we created a Membership Survey, tackling the functioning of the organisation, as well as what might be your particular concerns.
We kindly ask you to take a few minutes and fill out this survey, but also to share it with colleagues and friends of audiovisual archives around you. Your opinion will give us a clear view of what you think about FIAT/IFTA and which direction you would like to see us going, to increase our relevancy even more, for you and for our working field as a whole.
FIAT/IFTA forms a truly global community in the field of audiovisual preservation, archiving and access. It has over 150 members, at all continents. Our members vary from national audiovisual archives (Sound & Vision and INA for example) to broadcasters (BBC, RAI, ZDF, ORF, SVT, DR, MBC, Al Jazeera, etc.), and it is widely recognized and supported also by the industry. All our members are somewhere on a transition path from analogue to digital. Each member is valuable for us.
We would like to see your answers come in before Friday, April 22th. After that, we will process the results, summarize them and draw conclusions. From the second half of 2016, the FIAT/IFTA Executive Council together with the Commissions will translate these into concrete actions. We’ll also present the results at the 2016 World Conference in Warsaw, Poland, from October 12 to 15.
