FRAME Tech is a five day international training dedicated to the technical stakes of audiovisual archives’ management, organised by INA with the support of FIAT/IFTA and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). It is part of the FRAME courses, a portfolio including also the FRAME Access and FRAME Executive. This programme celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2020 and has built up an excellent reputation throughout the years, thanks to the combination of high quality trainers and facilities and an affordable pricing.
FRAME Tech 2020 was originally scheduled 15-19 June in Turin, Italy but is now postponed until a later date in the autumn due to the corona pandemic. The course will be hosted and co-organised with RAI – Radiotelevisione italiana. It provides a complete overview of the different stages of a technical archiving process: physical assets preservation, digitization, digital storage and management of digital multimedia assets. It points to good practices to help you to manage effectively your audiovisual archive and lead your projects, in collaboration with your technical staff and your service providers. Whatever the situation of your archive is, you will find useful information to improve your practices. No need to be a technical expert!
