CONFERENCE - IASA GOES TO OMAN

The 1997 IASA conference will be in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman, on October 4-9. (The last day of registration is July 1 and IASA membership is not required.) The opening speaker is Michael Harms, SWF, and the title of the speech is AV Archives on the Way to Multimedia - The Dilemma between Stagnation and Commercialism. The title indicates what we already know, IASA and its members are facing the same problems as FIAT/IFTA's members. It will be interesting to hear what they have to say on the subject.
